We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting from the car park behind the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre, and walking through Friston Forest on to Alfriston for a picnic lunch (or cafe's available). Lots of great views of the South Downs and Cuckmere Haven towards the end.
Accessible by bus. Catch the 13X bus from Brighton station (Stop D) at 09:20, or the Sealife Centre (Stop K) at 09:30, which arrives at the Seven Sisters Park Centre for 10:17. Meet in the car park just up the path from the bus stop.
Paid parking also available.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. The walk will start from the edge of the car park by the Seven Sisters Park Centre (north side of the road, not the car park on the south side!). Paid Parking.
