Join us for a circular walk from Hassocks to the village of Ditchling and back. We’ll set off from the west side of Hassocks Station (Brighton–London side). Our route takes us into Ditchling, where we’ll enjoy wandering through some of the village’s charming alleyways and twittens, before stopping for lunch on the recreation ground (please bring a packed lunch).
Along the way we’ll pause at the pond, which has a coffee shop and toilet facilities for anyone who’d like a drink or snack. Please note there are no other facilities until we return to Hassocks Station / The Hassocks pub at the end of the walk.
The walk includes a mix of paths, narrow alleys, stiles and fields. There are no hills, but underfoot conditions may be a bit boggy in places. We will also cross several fast roads, village footpaths and crossroads, therefore dogs on leads only.
