Overview

An extended version of walk 33 in the '20 More Walks around Shrewsbury ' book.

Starting at the daffodil field at Gatten Valley we climb steadily up to a ridge giving extensive views of Cothercott to one side and the Stiperstones to the other. We then drop down to a road and follow the Shropshire way up to Shepherds's Rock.  The walk then continues through Brook Vessons Nature Reserve to the road and back to the car park. Weather permitting the views are outstanding.
