Overview

On leaving the car park we will cross a vineyard before beginning our ascent following The Windmill Trail to Halnaker Windmill which offers fabulous views on a clear day. After taking in the views we descend by the same route before branching to the north east following a path bordering farmland.
We will ascend Long Down offering further views east over the village of Eartham and back towards Halnaker Windmill.

Descending Long Down we return to our starting point following footpaths through wooded areas, bridleways and a short section of country lane.
