Overview

Starting with an ascent of Cissbury Ring, pass the trig point (1mi) and descend to track heading east, crossing the Sompting-Steyning road before turning south (3mi) and skirting Steep Down to Lancing Ring (4.5mi). Now head NW crossing Steep Down (5.5mi) and then climbing steadily to Chanctonbury Ring (9.5mi). Descend gradually (retracing our steps for 0.5mi) towards Cissbury Ring passing the hill and back to the start point. 

During the walk there are views in all directions (weather permitting).
