Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to explore the valley of the river Dove north of Hartington. This is a stunning landscape with high hills such as Carder Low and the Pilsbury Castle Hills. Our route take us from Hartington to the site of Pilsbury Castle, which was the site of an extensive motte -and bailey castle built by the Normans.
