Romiley Arms, Peak Forest Canal, Marple Aqueduct, Vesseys Mill, Brabyns Park, Mellor Mill, Roman Lakes, Floodgates Cottage, Brook Bottom, Torrs Mill, Torrs Hydro, New Mills Station to catch a train back to Romiley at either 2 or 34 minutes passed the hour. Risk assessment : Can be muddy in places; small amount of road walking.
Please let the walk leader know of any health issues they should be aware of.
Outside the Romiley Arms, Compstall Road, Romiley (many car parks/on road parking options available near the start point)
We return by rail from New Mills Central Station at a current cost of £3.90 (the GM part of the journey is free for those with Greater Manchester senior citizens travel pass). Ticket machine at the station.
