Overview

A walk designed to showcase some of Bromley's historical sites and countryside, including Caesar's Well (the source of the Ravensbourne), the Wilberforce Oak, Holwood House, High Elms, Cudham and Downe, with fine views back to London along the way. It may be familiar, but is no less attractive and might appeal to those who do not know our area well. 6 miles in the morning before lunch in Cudham, where there are toilets and a pub for a quick drink if desired (but bring a picnic). 5 miles in the afternoon, with a break in Downe, where it is also possible to catch a bus, avoiding the last 3 miles.
