The walk heads south-east from the station to Brough and then through fields to the picturesque village of Bradwell. After passing through the village, we then climb steeply up Bradwell Edge to our planned lunch spot on Rebellion Knoll. Hopefully, on a fine day there will be good views up the valley towards Mam Tor. We then continue along Bradwell Edge before turning onto a track across Shatton Moor which we follow to Offerton Hall. We then begin our descent towards Hathersage along sections of track, woodland paths and through fields. The descent can be steep and slippery in places especially after rain. The walk ends at Hathersage train station where there will be an option to head into the town for post walk socialising.

There are a number of stiles on this walk and a very steep climb up onto Bradwell Edge. There may be cattle/sheep in some of the fields.

Bring waterproofs and warm clothing and expect mud if there has been recent rain. Sun cream may also be needed if the weather is good.
