Starting at Bamford station, we head along to Thornhill, and then Aston Hall, before ascending Win Hill via Edge Farm. After Win Hill, we descend through the plantation, turning left towards The Springs, for an easier descent (We avoid Parking Clough, which is steep and slippy). We then cross the Ladybower dam and ascend to the site of hut circles on Bamford Edge. After walking along Bamford Edge, we descend Bamford Clough to Bamford Village, where there’s a choice between the Anglers Rest or the Tricky Trout Tearoom, or you can just go straight back to the station.
