This is a linear walk from Entwistle to Darwen taking in the views of the West Pennine Moors and the octagonal Jubilee Tower (officially called Darwen Tower) on Darwen Hill which was completed in 1898 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. It also commemorated the victory of the local people for the right of access to the surrounding moors. It was opened to the public on 24 September 1898.
Some areas may be boggy so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
