Train based joint walk with Area Ramblers

Meet Point: 10.30 at Manchester Piccadilly to catch the 10.47 train to Disley (final destination Buxton)
Transport to Walk Start: 10.47 Manchester Piccadilly to Disley
Suggested Ticket: Disley Off Peak Day Return £7.40
Walk Start: Disley Station when the train arrives at 11.06
Return Services: MWe should be at Middlewood station by 15.00, you can either catch the 15.16 towards Buxton if you need to return to Disley, or catch the 15.26 back to Piccadilly
Waypoints: Through National Trust Lyme Park and low moor and farm lands - including side of Cage Hill, tea room and picnic area near Lyme Hall, Platt Wood, Brookside farms and Jackson Nature Road Reserve
Extra: No toilet at walk start. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)
Walking boots or shoes and clothes (waterproof jacket in wet weather conditions) are essential.
Please bring light lunch / snack and non alcoholic drinks.
