We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk goes into Ashdown Forest and heads to Friars Gate Farm. We then head for Park Grove and onto the High Weald Landscape Trail, and turn towards the London Road and into Royal Mires Wood. We cross the B2188 and head for Friars Gate and return through 100 acre wood and down Church Hill back to Old Lane. There is a short section of busy road and 4 stiles.

The walk starts from Old Lane, St John's. As you drive up Old Lane from St John's Rd look out for a Telegraph pole on the left-hand side of the Lane and a newish close-boarded fence just past on the left, the walk starts here. What 3 Words are :- cubes.receiving.sadly
