Leader: Phil M (Meeting at walk start)

Meet Point: On the Metrolink platform at Manchester Victoria. Alternatively, meet the group on the tram, or at the Walk Start at Crumpsall Metrolink station.

Transport to Walk Start: Any Metrolink to get you to Crumpsall for walk start at 12:00pm

Suggested Ticket: Metrolink Zone 1, 2 & 3

Walk Start: Crumpsall Metrolink station at 12:00

Waypoints: River Irk, Bowker Vale, Blackley Forest, Simister Gate, Heaton Park

Return Services: Any Metrolink from Heaton Park Station

Extra: Please use the toilet at Victoria Station. No toilets at walk start. Cafe and toilet at Heaton Park. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs).:

This linear walk from Crumpsall to Heaton Park will start by following the River Irk through Bowker Vale and Blackley Forest before entering Heaton park via the Simister Gate entrance.  We will then complete a full circuit of the park and return to Heaton Park Metro Station
