Waypoints: Marple station, Lake Road, Community Farm, Roman Lake, along River Goyt, Strines Road, Plucksbridge Road, Peak Forest Canal, A626, Memorial Park, Marple station.
Extra: No toilet at walk start. Optional drinks at the end of the walk. Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)
Walking boots or shoes and clothes (waterproof jacket in wet weather conditions) are essential.
Please bring light lunch / snack and non alcoholic drinks. This circular walk includes a stop at The Garden House Marple Charity and Community Farm - home to a variety of animals including pigs, alpacas, rabbits, goats, Shetland ponies and more. There is also a play area, a sensory garden and riverside walk and a cafe.
Families with children over 8 years old are most welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult, no more than two children per adult.
