Jackson Lane, Bollington - SHORT WALK

Jackson Lane Bollington SK10 5BG 10.00am start. There is a small carpark or park on the road near entrance to Hollin House Hotel. Moderate walk. Aprox 5 miles.Those of you who know me know I do not do hills so you will be wondering why we will be walking up to White Nancy!! It is over 1000 ft assent. If you 'don't do hills' please join me as I stop several times on the way up to 'admire the view'. Those of you of a more robust nature can wait at the top and admire the amazing views. We will walk along the Ridge and then a sharp walk down the other side. There are several stone styles and a little mud as we walk across the fields. There are quite a few steps along the way and then a bit of a hill past the cottages back to the cars. This is a very pretty walk with some amazing views and so worth the effort even for me. Easy pace as I will be leading at least along the flat parts.
