Overview

A walk up Kilvey Hill from Ty Draw to the mast then along the top of the quarry with views of Swansea Bay and the docks.

We will then descend along the lane back to the start.

Stiles: None

Toilets: At start

Terrain: Poles are advised - There is a short path downhill which is quite steep

Social after walk:

Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to Caitlins Coffee Corner

(on Jersey Road)

Directions:

From central Swansea:

  • Take A4217 northward on east bank of Tawe
  • Turn right onto B5444 BEFORE roundabout
  • At junction with Jersey Road, bear right onto Bon-y-maen Road
  • At Crossroads, continue straight onto Ty-Draw Road
  • After about half a mile, bear left through gates, signed ‘Kilvey Carriage House’
