Overview

This is a five-and-a-half-mile linear walk, starting at Kings Norton Recreation Ground and ending at the junction of Dogpool Lane and Pershore Rd.   This is a fairly flat route with no stiles.

The route takes us along the Worcester Canal and then onto the River Rea path to Cannon Hill Park via the woodland near Moor Green Lane.  There will be the opportunity for coffee at the MAC before finishing the walk along the River Rea to Dogpool Lane.

Please be aware -

·Parking is available in Kings Norton Recreation Ground

·Depending on the prevailing weather conditions some surfaces may be muddy especially in the woodland sections.

·We will be returning via public transport 

Please arrive in time for a 10.30am start.

There will be an opportunity for coffee at the MAC before finishing the walk along the River Rea to Dogpool Lane.  From here we will catch either the 45 or 47 bus back to Cotteridge Station.
