Circular walk on the South West Coast Path, starting at Cawsand square in front of The Cross keys Inn.
Visit the boundary line between Devon and Cornwall, enjoy the stunning coastline, visit a grotto at Penlee Point and on to the old 12th century Chapel at Rame Head. Views above Polhawn Cove across to Whitsand Bay. Walk above part of Whitsand Bay then head back down to Cawsand and Kingsand.
We can have a short snack break at Penlee Point, then coffee break at Ramen Head. For a treat and if you have time you can enjoy fish and chips, ice-cream or a coffee in Cawsand overlooking the beach at end of walk, or have a picnic lunch . Toilets at Kingsand and Cawsand.
Options for parking
Cawsand Long stay CP 3-4 hours £2.60 - then walk down towards the beach at Cross Keys In Square, where we will meet at 10.00. I would suggest parking here as it's more user friendly.
Alternatively you can park down the road leading to Kingsand and Cawsand on the right hand side if there are spaces, which is free (be aware of permit users).
Coast path usually dry but may be muddy patches on return through fields.
Dogs on leads advised.
