Overview

Starting from the roadside parking near the bridge we follow a circular anti-clockwise path around Ladybower Reservoir. We follow the path on the Eastern shore of the reservoir till we reach the road at Wellhead leading to the remains of one of the old villages flooded when the dam was built. Passing below Derwent Dam we then reach a small nature reserve and Fairholmes Information Centre, where there are toilets & small cafe.  We then head back along the Western shore, through the trees, back to the start.
