We are the Pontypool Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We’ll start at Blackrock and follow a route that takes us inland for a while before passing through the Cornfield in Portskewett and out onto the Wales Coastal path.
From there we’ll head along the path and then turn inland towards Caldicot castle where we’ll stop for lunch. After lunch it’s back down to the Wales Coastal path going the other way, through Sudbrook and back to Black Rock.
A relatively flat route, which may be muddy in a couple of places, toilet facilities at our lunch stop.
