Overview

This is a varied walk from the pleasant town of Leatherhead in Surrey. We start by following the Mole Gap Trail, before climbing through woods to Norbury Park and then weaving our way through country lanes to Polesden Lacey, a National Trust property (café, toilets), where we will have lunch. Return will be by a different route via Fetcham Downs.

The walk is on good paths through woods and open countryside with good views in some places. We will walk at a moderate pace and there are a few hills, one of them quite steep. Some paths may be muddy if we have rain. There are no easy drop out points, but there is a quicker route back to Box Hill and Westhumble station if necessary.
