Overview

A linear walk from Thornholme to Bridlington along the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The walk will be led by Leigh Fulton.

No dogs except registered assistance dogs with the consent of the leader.

Catch 9.25 bus from Bridlington on the dual carriageway entering Bridlington in front of Morrisons Superstore - see map. Parking is free on the road side on the school side opposite the fire station.

Starting from Thornholme we head up the Roman Road en route to Rudston Church graveyard then to Haisthorpe Highfield and Church Lane. Then pleasant woodland walking towards Boynton,viewing the impressive Hall before heading upwards to Woldgate Horse Trekking Centre and then descending to Bessingby,crossing the A614 and along the bridleway ,through the village and back to the start point. There are loos and a cafe in Morrisons at the start and end of the walk.
