Limited Numbers - Booking Essential**
A 'walk with talks' - tracing the mostly hidden path of the 'lost' River Tyburn from its source high up in Hampstead down through the streets and parks of London to where it flows into the Thames...at Chelsea Embankment.
Largely pavement/hard surface walking - so well cushioned footwear advised!
9 miles but with frequent stops for talks and many drop-out points.
Allow up to 7 hours for the complete walk (including 1 hour lunch stop).
Route: Hampstead, Regents Park, Mayfair, Green Park, Pimlico, Chelsea Embankment.
Meet: Hampstead Underground Station (Zone 2/3 - Northern Line Edgware branch)) at 10.00.
Lunch: Picnic in Green Park or pub lunch
Finish: Westminster Station (Zone 1- Circle/District/Jubilee lines).
