Approximately 9+ mile walk - starting Wetherby station road car park ( charges may be in place) 10 am . The walk goes through ginnels in Wetherby to cross the rail line and head to Kirk Deighton . Turn left at the pub to go through field to join the rail track to Spofforth . Crossing the road to join tracks over Royal Oak plantation. Up to Sicklinghall for lunch / toilet stop. Follow Longlands lane then tracks to trip lane Linton . Follow the road back to Wetherby via the golf club . Up Scaur bank besides the river Wharfe , back to the car park station road. It can get extremely muddy if it has rained .
Primary through fields and tracks / underlating countryside . Can get v muddy on some tracks - especially after wet weather. Walk includes 3 villages north / east of Wetherby .
