This six mile trek starts at the Roundhay Fox pub on the corner of Mansion Lane. We head in towards the park, skirting the upper lake. We pass the golf course on the pathway up to the ring road, crossing at the lights and onto the farm fields heading towards Shadwell. Once in Shadwell we walk along Main Street for a few hundred metres and take a left back into a countryside pathway - it does have a name!! Reaching the ring road once again we will walk down to the controlled traffic area at the junction with Park Lane (not quite like on the Monopoly board!) and then turn back into Roundhay park walking down and round Waterloo Lake (no battles there!) Eventually reaching our starting point where we have a choice of refreshment venues.
The weather is certainly changing and the route may be muddy so please be prepared with the right gear. Mostly flat walk. On major bus routes.

Plenty of parking near starting point. Please be aware parking on Mansion Lane is pay and display. (other streets round and about no charge - please check)
