Starting at 10.30am with the AGM at 2pm at Scholes (Elmet) Cricket Club pavilion we will walk down past Moscrop farm and up to the A64 where we will cross and make our way across farm fields towards Thorner. We head down Main Street to Mill Beck and turn right into more countryside, eventually reaching ELOR - the East Leeds Orbital Route. Staying on this track we soon reach the turning for Chippies Pond which takes us back into Scholes. We head down Main Street (lots of Main Streets!) for around 1/4 mile and take a left onto the signed footpath that will lead us back to the Cricket Pavilion. Refreshments will be served at the pavilion prior to the AGM - please help and muck in!!
If using satnav it's probably best to key in 38 Rakehill Road LS15 4AJ - that's the last house on the right! Keep on the the unmade road - the pavilion is about 150 yards along on the right. Please park on the pavilion side (not both sides as farm vehicles need to pass). There is plenty of parking space!
Route is likely to be muddy by beginning of November!
