Overview

Meet at Byefield Lane Car Park, Abergavenny for a walk along the river to Llanfoist, ascending to the canal for a coffee stop.

We ascend the lane to Upper Ninfa, and follow a sunken lane before descending to the Punch Bowl for lunch (bring your own!)  We may be lucky enough to see dragon flies, damsel flies and even Canada Geese.

After lunch we descend fields and lane to the canal and Llanfoist then over the river, through Linda Vista Gardens and back to the cars.
