Maesyrychen Mountain

An initial steep ascent opens out on to moorland terrain with views across the Horseshoe Pass. We pass some old slate quarry workings and follow the ridge over the top, before descending at the south end of the hill. Another path then leads us back around the side of the hill to the start.

This is one of our shorter walks but magnificent views all the way around - weather permitting. Two or three stops.
