Overview

Another chance to enjoy a Church Tea at St Michaels Bray but a different walk this time. We leave the carpark and carefully cross the A308 to enter and cross Maidenhead golf course on route to Ockwells park. This section involves a bit of road walking and a footbridge over the A404. We'll walk around the nature reserve and leave by crossing the M4 and heading off to Holyport where we'll stop for our picnic lunch on the green by the pond. After lunch we'll go through the old original village and the newer housing estate en-route to Bray Lake. We'll go around the lake past the outdoor centre and take the quiet road into Bray village where we can stop at the church hall to enjoy their excellent tea and cake. After tea we'll go past Heston Blumenthal's restaurants on our short walk back to the cars
