CHANGE OF START POINT. THIS REPLACES Alport Circuit via Youlgreave and Lathkill Dale WHICH IS CANCELLED.
10.00 am Start Wincle Brewery, Danebridge. Roadside parking.
Moderate 8.7 miles 1169 Ascent (OS Maps). A very pleasant circular route with lovely views. There are some stiles and a couple of short stretches of road walking on quiet lanes and one very short stretch on A54 at the Wild Boar Inn, but mainly grassy paths and tracks.
Route: Dane Valley Way, Barleigh Ford Bridge, Dumkins, Nettlebeds, Wincle Grange, Wincle Church, Hammerton Farm, Wild Boar Inn, Cessbank Common, Hazels, Hammerton Knowl Farm, Allmeadows, Bartomley Farm, Danebridge.
Toilets available at Wincle Brewery for customers (tea, coffee, beer available). Bring food and drink for coffee and lunch stop. Views are beautiful on a good day.
