We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Following a path through grassland and woodland passing two pools, then along a tree boarded bridleway towards Middle Village. Walking through the village to continue along lanes, fields and wooded areas heading towards a Cottage garden. On through the garden taking an uphill track to the quarry passing a house built into the rock. Descending through fields and a bridleway to Merrington Lane. Finally, along the lane passing a farm to return to the car park.
Merrington Green has a history of dragon flies, now there are some 17 different species of the dragon fly identified there.
