Overview

The 3rd in the Summer Monday Walk series of linear walks utilising public transport. 

A mirror image of the May walk on the West side of Ullswater, this will be along the Eastern side.

Departing Penrith Rugby Club at 08:30

Catching the 09:20 508 bus from Pooley Bridge. (this is the 09:02 from Penrith)

Alighting at Kirkstone Pass at 10:06

Returning to Pooley Bridge on foot over Caudale Moor, Thornthwaite Crag, Loadpot Hill, Arthur's Pike etc.

Free parking is limited in Pooley Bridge, paid for parking plentiful.

Recommended free parking is the usual fell-walkers car park at Roehead as it is on the route of the walk. However it is a good 15minutes walk from Pooley Bridge bus stop.

We will  be walking back to Pooley Bridge via Roehead at the end of the walk.
