Overview

B WALK DESCRIPTION: 10 miles with 700 ft of climbing - Leader Kate Chester. Circular from the Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh.  The walk heads North along the Diamond Way to the Severn/Thames watershed, before heading West along a lane to Batsford.  Continuing past Batsford to the edge of the Cotswold escarpment.  Then picking up the Heart of England Way South through Bourton-on-the-Hill, passing Sezincote to Longborough where, time permitting, we may stop for a break at the Coach and Horses.  Picking up Monarch’s Way North back to Moreton-in-Marsh. Picnic lunch, with possible pub stop in afternoon. Maps Landranger 151; Explorer 45.  The fare is £15.
