Leaving the car park we follow footpaths, bridleways and tracks across fields with great views of the Shropshire Hills. Firstly, passing the windmill on Windmill Hill, its working life ended in 1850 by a lightning strike. Then the chance to admire the grandeur of the National Trust property, Benthall Hall and neighbouring St. Bartholomew's Church. Returning to Much Wenlock via Benthall Edge and The Shropshire Way.
