This is a varied 8-mile walk in and out of the forest, including woodland, forest villages, a coffee stop on the River Avon, an architectural gem, farmland and an optional pub lunch, with some open heathland in the afternoon - 5 miles in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
Varied walking on paths and some quiet lanes. Some hills but nothing too severe and good views both across the forest and beyond. A lunch stop has been arranged in a pub, with nearby benches for those who prefer to picnic. I will email a menu from The Woodfalls Inn to those wishing to use the pub and would ask you to give me your lunch order by Tuesday 22nd, so that I can confirm numbers and a preorder to the pub.
