We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We start by the disused railway station at West Meon, then via a circuitous route climb up onto Old Winchester Hill for a lunch with views.
Afterwards, we head south-west to Brockbridge where we pick up the old railway line and walk back.
There are 2 stiles and a short stretch of very busy road with no pavement as we approach Brockbridge.
This is a picnic walk so please bring lunch, snacks and drinks.
Don’t forget to bring additional drinks, suntan cream and hats if it is hot.
Poles are advisable if used normally.
