Overview

Gloucestershire Airport, Churchdown, Churchdown Hill, Badgeworth. Good paths, pavements, country lanes and fields. A steady climb to the top of Churchdown Hill followed by a steepish descent including steps. If we have rain, this will be slippery. Thereafter the route is completely flat but does include 11 stiles. Two coffee / snack stops. Further refreshments available after the walk at the nearby Aviator PH at Gloucestershire Airport. Local walk grade - Moderate pace, terrain 2 hilly and level mix. Additional Maps: L162/L163/E179. NB Please note earlier start time of 9.30am so that we can ascend the hill before the heat of the day.
