An undulating circular route on the border of Howardian Hills and North York Moors National Park. Starting from Coxwold we will go through historically interesting villages of Husthwaite, Thormanby, Carlton Husthwaite, Kilburn and Oldstead.
We shall be using cross field and field edge paths, farm tracks , woodland path and a little pavement walking through villages. There are a few ascents but nothing strenuous. Conditions underfoot at present are dry and good.
There are a number of stiles to negotiate but they are generally in good condition.
In the event of bad weather the route length can be reduced.
Assistance dogs only but contact the Leader first as some of the fields may contain livestock.
Coxwold car park has an honesty box with a recommended donation of £3 for a full day
