West Mendip Walkers easy 4.5 mile circular walk from Priddy. Pass Queen Victoria pub on Pelting Grove, onto West Mendip Way and Dursdon Grove. Go on Monarchs Way for a short while and follow the edge of several fields. Eastwater Farm and then Eastwater Drove. The hill to the right is peppered with Bronze Age sites including the Priddy Nine Barrows and the Ashen Hill Barrows. Pass pumping station then follow edge of field onto Nine Barrows Lane. Walk down past Priddy Pool on the right , into the churchyard , down hill to village green and car parking area.
Dog friendly with usual rules. Lunch at Queen Victoria pub for those who want to stay. Opens at midday. This walk is generally level. [NB Out of fairness to everyone, regular walkers with the West Mendip Walkers are asked to take their turn in leading walks, typically around two a year].
