We are the West Mendip Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

West Mendip Walkers moderate 8 mile, circular walk. Starting at Blagdon car park, the walk goes up through the High Street, across farmland to Burrington, across the Coombe Road and up The Link onto Dolebury Warren. We might stop for a coffee break here to admire the view. The walk then takes us down a steeply stepped path, rejoins The Limestone Link, then goes up and across Blackdown. We return to Blagdon via The Ham.
The Coffee Station Cafe in Blagdon next to the car park for refreshments at the end. There are 2 or 3 stiles. Dogs on leads for the two road crossings, some roadwork and where livestock are present. Several moderate climbs.
Please register in advance for this walk so that the walk leader can compile an accurate list of participants beforehand. Also, out of fairness to everyone, regular walkers with the West Mendip Walkers are asked to take their turn in leading walks, typically around two a year.
