We are the Shrewsbury Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular leisurely walk through a post industrial landscape which has been transformed into woods meadows and wetlands, a great day out . The walk starts from the Country Park then along the riverside, through fields, past the old water mill. From the mill there is a slight incline though a wooded area, followed by some road walking, to a field path back to the start.
There will be one coffee stop on the riverside. The Country Park with it's grassy slopes, views, and picnic areas is an ideal place for lunch at the end of the walk. There are also refreshments available from the on site cafe.

Voluntary transport cost, for people car sharing £5 per person.

Severn Valley Country Park at Alveley. There is a parking fee of £2.50 all day from 10.0am to 4.0pm
