Overview

From the car park next to the tennis courts we will head down to the Hamble estuary and then over the railway line and motorway  to explore the Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve, a former brickworks with a chance to see some of the ponds created. Our return route will take us back under the motorway and railway line.

Free car park next to the tennis courts, just off The Green no through road. There is a height barrier at the car park, but there a few spaces before the height barrier. The X4 and X5 buses stop nearby.
