Welcome to Capital Walkers, the friendly London Ramblers group for people aged 40+. We walk every weekend and usually at least once during the week.
An overnight sea front walk exploring a section of the Saxon Shore Way.
Starting at 22.30 on Saturday 1st July in Whitstable and finishing at 08.00 on Sunday 2nd July in Margate. This walk will be run in conjunction with Metropolitan Walkers.
Join us for fish and chips on the beach from 7.30pm (https://www.facebook.com/people/Ossies-best-fish-and-chips/100063706535943/ or other food of your choice - we'll gather on the beach immediately in front of the Sea Farmers Dive, where you may wish to buy a drink. Last orders at the Sea Farmers Dive are at 10pm and we would ask that if you are joining the walk you be outside the bar by 9.45pm. We will start walking at 10.30pm.

Please bring appropriate clothing as it is likely to be cooler - and stopping for break you may also get cold.
Twenty four hour toilets available in Whitstable and Herne Bay.
No drop-out points.
No booking required.
Walk starts at 22.30 from just outside the Sea Farmers Dive. This is on the sea wall - walk past Zizi's (on your right) and turn left when you get to the sea wall, and the Sea Farmers Dive will be on your left (adjacent to the sea wall).
We will finish on Margate beach - paddling and breakfast at The Beano cafe are optional. Margate train station (with trains to Victoria, Stratford International and Kings Cross) is located just off the beach.
