This is a hilly circular walk with an ascent of 381 meters. The first section of the walk to High Elms Country Park is flat however thereafter it’s hilly all the way to Cudham with styles and further hills with a steep valley path and hill before Downe.
Though close to London this picturesque Kentish walk features woodlands, farmland, and scenic views back to London and deep into the Kentish countryside.
Toilet facilities are available at the beginning and end of the walk and end route at High Elms and Cudham.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Exit points are available at High Elms, Cudham and Downe.

Travel: Take the 10:25 train from London Bridge Railway Station, arrives Petts Wood 10:52.
Meet at the exit leading to Morrisons Supermarket - ie the exit which is the opposite side to the ticket office.
