This walk starts at the carpark at Scar House Reservoir. We then head up along the Nidderdale way passing through the villages of Middlesmoor and Lofthouse. We then climb up onto Dale Edge. The walk is flat for the next couple of miles before we decent towards Scar House Reservoir. We then cross Scar House dam before we reach the carpark again.
The total accent and decent for this walk is 550 m.
The walk is along good tracks, fields and quiet roads.
Free carpark at Scar House and there are toliets.
Scar House Reservoir is accessed by the first right hand turn after the village of Lofthouse. Continue down this minor road for 2 miles.
