This walk will be led by Tony Ashbridge.
Starting from the Oliver's Mount car park the walk will head south and then across a field and down steps towards the Mere. We then walk on a pleasant track through a bushy landscape in the direction of Seamer. On reaching the road we bear east along an unused road and then along a field track to Deepdale where we turn right and walk along the top of the Dale and then down into it before carefully crossing the golf course. We then bear East along the road to the A165 and cross this at the pedestrian crossing and then walk alongside it for a short while before heading to the coastal path towards Osgodby and Cayton Bay . Eventually we turn back in the direction of Scarborough. A very pleasant walk along the tops follows with fine views of Scarborough before we veer west and onto the roads up to Oliver's Mount. Leaving the road we climb steepish steps which bring us back up to the road just 100 yards from the cafe which serves excellent refreshments.
