A lovely walk along the coastal path, walking along the cliffs on the northern part of Flamborough Head and then heading towards Filey, with the last three miles on the firm sandy beach into Filey. This is a linear walk from Bempton to Filey with a good train service on the Hull to Scarborough line. The walk will start from Bempton railway station at 9.30am to coincide with the arrival of the train from Hull. For those arriving by car, there is ample parking on grass verges near the station, and the return from Filey to Bempton can be made by an hourly train service.
The route will be up to join the coast path at Bempton Cliffs, then through the RSPB reserve to Speeton Cliffs and then to Hunmanby Gap before the descent to the beach. And then back to Filey railway station to catch the train.
