A rural walk circling St Albans and skirting Hatfield. We pass through the village of Sandridge and the open parkland of North Mymms. There are views of North Mymms Elizabethan House built in 1599 and we pass St Marys Church. In the church there is porch board referencing a local field called 'Wants lying near to Muffets'. This field belongs to a farm owned by Mr Thomas Muffet, whose daughter is thought to be 'Little Miss Muffet'. The latter part of the walk passes sinkholes near the Hamlet of Water End.
No drop-out points.
The finishing time is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors, such as the weather, the speed at which the group walks and the number of breaks taken.
