This walk starts at the lower lodges of Stanmer park, at the entrance to the park off the A27 to Lewes, by the children's play park. The nearest postcode is further into the park and the what 3words is usually incorrect. Paid parking or accessible by a range of busses or by rail. We walk through woodland and the University to Moon's corner and then continue to ascend to Streat Hill and along the ridge to Ditchling Beacon. We then descend across farmland and through Stanmer Woods. 787 feet of ascent and descent. Poles advised and there may be mud. As this is a relatively short walk, there will be one stop for BYO coffee or lunch. Dogs welcome on a lead due to livestock. This walk will not take place in rain. Please check on the day.
